It is in furtherance of this mandate of promotion of ADR through Mediation that we have organized the 2nd Edition of the Mediation Conference. A platform created to bring together all stakeholders, from government, policymakers, private and public sectors, Practitioners, Trainers, and academia as well as the users among others, to discuss, and influence policy. Mediation in Kenya is growing in leaps and bounds and more so since the inception of the Court Annexed Mediation as well as general acceptance across the board as an ideal dispute resolution mechanism of choice in both the private and public sectors. As it grows there is a need to create standards and uphold international best Practices that will ensure effective and efficient access to justice for all.
