Chikwendu Madumere has been in active legal practice since 1991 and heads the arbitration desk at MADUMERE & MADUMERE. I have been involved in well over 110 arbitration cases sitting as Sole, Wing and Presiding Arbitrator in both international and domestic arbitration conducted under various arbitration rules like the ICC, UNCITRAL, etc, over disputes covering energy and natural resources, infrastructure, construction, maritime, taxation, etc. He also appears regularly as Counsel in both international investment and commercial arbitration. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and also has a Diploma in Financial Management. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Administration. He has a Masters Degree with distinction in Petroleum Law and Policy from CEPMLP, University of Dundee, Scotland.
