The Young Practitioners' programme, themed “Africa's Next: The Unfiltered Conversation About Building an ADR Career on the Continent,” provides a candid platform for practitioners under 40 to explore career opportunities, financial realities, access to appointments and the structural challenges facing the next generation of African ADR professionals.

Tuesday 6th October | Who Decides?
The Sovereignty Question in African Dispute Resolution
Day One examines Africa's role in shaping its own dispute resolution architecture.
Key conversations will explore:
A signature highlight is the Chief Justice Fireside, bringing together senior judicial voices to discuss the future relationship between courts, arbitration and dispute resolution across Africa.

Wednesday 7th October | Deciding Differently
Innovation, Technology and the Tools of Tomorrow
Day Two looks ahead at the forces transforming dispute resolution.
Sessions will examine:
The programme challenges practitioners, institutions and policymakers to move beyond reacting to change and instead shape the rules, standards and systems that will govern the future.

Access to Justice and the African ADR Ecosystem
The final joint conference day focuses on collaboration, access to justice and building stronger African ADR systems.
Discussions will cover:
The day concludes with the Conference Declaration, bringing together the key commitments and outcomes of the conference and formally capturing what Africa has decided to do next.
