Dear Chartered Arbitrators, Fellows and Members of Ciarb Kenya Branch,
On behalf of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Kenya Branch and following the governance and elections procedure of the Board of Ciarb Kenya Branch I have the honour and pleasure of introducing the newly elected Board of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Kenya Branch led by Prof. Kenneth Wyne Mutuma C.Arb, FCIArb as the Chairman.
In addition to this I would also like to announce the appointment of Ms. Evelyne Wanjiru Kimani MCIArb as the Acting CEO of Ciarb Kenya Branch effective immediately. She takes up the leadership from Ms. Chebett Koske MCIArb whose term is coming to an end on 30th June 2025. Over the course of her tenure, Chebett has led with clarity, conviction and commitment, qualities that have left a lasting imprint on the institution. Please join me in thanking her and wishing her the very best.
Leadership transitions are a natural and important part of institutional growth. I thank each and every one of you, our partners, and staff for your continued trust and engagement with Ciarb Kenya Branch and most importantly your trust and support during my term.
As I transition, I remain confident that under the guidance of the new leadership, Ciarb Kenya will not only continue to thrive but will also raise the bar higher than its predecessors continuing to position the Branch as a global benchmark in Arbitration & Alternative Dispute Resolution.
I call upon every member, partner and stakeholder to support this team and take an active role in conquering new heights and promoting effective dispute resolution for a better world.
