Newly Elected Directors Announced Following the 41st Annual General Meeting

Congratulations once again to the newly elected Board Members!

Following the successful conclusion of the 41st Annual General Meeting and elections of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) – Kenya Branch, we are pleased to announce the election of the new Directors to the Branch Board.

The elected Directors are:

  • Prof. Wyne Kenneth, C.Arb, FCIArbVice Chairperson, CIArb Kenya (Re-elected)
  • James Ngotho Kariuki, LL.M, FCIArbEmeritus YMG Chairman (Re-elected)
  • Peter Njeru, OGW, FCIArbNewly elected
  • Senior Counsel Charles Kanjama, FCIArbNewly elected
  • Kananu Mutea, FCIArbNewly elected

We warmly congratulate all the elected Directors and express our gratitude to the membership for participating in the democratic process.

Prof. Wyne Kenneth and James Ngotho Kariuki were both re-elected after completing their previous terms, reflecting continued confidence in their leadership and contributions to the Institute. Their experience and commitment remain a valuable asset to the Board.

Joining the Board for the first time are Peter Njeru, Senior Counsel Charles Kanjama, and Kananu Mutea each bringing a wealth of experience, legal acumen, and a shared commitment to advancing the mission and vision of CIArb Kenya.

As a Branch, we look forward to the strategic direction, inclusive leadership, and impactful initiatives that this team will bring to support the growth of arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in Kenya and the wider region.
