Strengthening Leadership Through ADR: CIArb Kenya and IOD Kenya Collaborate for Change

In an era where effective leadership demands not only strategic thinking but also adeptness in conflict resolution, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) Kenya Branch and the Institute of Directors (IOD) Kenya have taken a bold step forward. The two organizations recently held collaborative talks centered on building capacity and raising awareness around Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and the management of conflicts and disputes within organizations.

These discussions mark the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at equipping directors and senior leaders with the tools and knowledge they need to foster healthier, more resilient corporate environments. By leveraging ADR mechanisms, leaders can better navigate the complex dynamics of organizational conflict, mitigating risks, enhancing governance, and sustaining long-term value.

As part of this collaboration, CIArb Kenya and IOD Kenya are proud to announce the upcoming Directors Forum, to be held jointly on 12th August. This high-level event will bring together board directors, C-suite executives, governance professionals, and conflict resolution experts for insightful conversations around the role of ADR in effective leadership and organizational success.

While the event flyer is currently under development, the agenda promises to deliver thought-provoking sessions, practical case studies, and interactive discussions tailored for today’s directors and governance practitioners.

Stay tuned as more details will be shared soon.

For now, mark your calendars 12th August and prepare to be part of a transformative conversation that places ADR at the heart of responsible leadership.
