The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) Kenya Branch and Kilifi County Government held a virtual Courtesy Call on the 3rd of October 2023. Fruitful discussions resulted in agreements to collaborate on various aspects of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). The outcomes included plans for formal training programs, public sensitization efforts, research initiatives, and the establishment of a modern ADR Center in Kilifi County, with a draft Memorandum of Understanding to formalize the partnership to be prepared within two weeks. This collaboration seeks to promote ADR and administrative justice within the county, with a focus on empowering county professionals and increasing public awareness of ADR options.
