The ADR Journal Vol.14 Issue 2 The ADR Journal is a publication by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), Kenya that spearheads intellectual discourse on pertinent and germane issues in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and other related fields of knowledge.

Arbitration Rules These rules have been revised to accord with the provisions of the Arbitration Act, No. 4 of 1995 (as amended from time to time) and are primarily applicable to non-administered or noninstitutional arbitration within the jurisdiction of the Republic of Kenya.

On 2nd August 2023, under the leadership of Ms. Jacqueline Waihenya, we visited the Association of Kenya Insurers to discuss integrating Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in the insurance sector. Discussions centered on ADR training, its inclusion in contracts, promoting unbiased adjudication, and formalizing our partnership with a Memorandum of Understanding. We’re committed to advancing ADR’s role in insurance.
