The ADR Journal Vol.14 Issue 2 The ADR Journal is a publication by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), Kenya that spearheads intellectual discourse on pertinent and germane issues in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and other related fields of knowledge.

Arbitration Rules These rules have been revised to accord with the provisions of the Arbitration Act, No. 4 of 1995 (as amended from time to time) and are primarily applicable to non-administered or noninstitutional arbitration within the jurisdiction of the Republic of Kenya.

Inaugural Jonny Havelock Annual Lecture

A very successful inaugural Justice Jonny Havelock Annual Lecture was held on 13^th March 2024. It was hosted by our Chairman Jacqueline Waihenya.

We had tributes and presentations from Hon. Justice Richard Mwongo and Paul Ngotho with the lecture delivered by Dr. Wilfred Mutubwa on THE FUTURE OF COMMERCIAL AND INVESTMENT DISPUTE RESOLUTION: THE MULTILATERAL INVESTMENT COURT v. INTERNATIONAL ARBITRATION and a presentation of a plaque to the family of the Late Justice Havelock.
