CIArb Rwanda officially launched and in attendance was Former CIArb Kenya Chairman Dr. Wilfred A. Mutubwa, Africa Trustee Dr. Madumere and the Chief Justice of Rwanda Hon. Faustin Ntenzilyayo FCIArb was inducted as the Patron of the Rwanda Branch.
The gradual growth of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in the East Africa region continues to show that indeed ADR is on an upward trajectory and as a Branch it is our pleasure and privilege to offer our support and guidance to the new Branch.
The Branch had a virtual ADR Talk on the new International Bar Association Guidelines on Conflict of Interest in Arbitration that came into force in February 2024.
A very successful webinar was held on 15th March 2024 on the fascinating intersection of artificial intelligence, technology tools, and the ever-evolving realm of arbitration.
A very successful inaugural Justice Jonny Havelock Annual Lecture was held on 13th March 2024. It was hosted by our Chairman Jacqueline Waihenya.
