A very successful ADR talk on the Arbitration in the resolution of disputes in the Banking & Financial Service sector was held on 8th May 2024. The panelists Mr. Khaseke & Ms Opiyo did an amazing job in bringing out the pertinent issues in the sector and the expert moderation from Ms. Kaunda ensured the participants had a smooth sail.
Banking and Finance sector is a major sector in the economy that is integral in driving trade and commerce. However, as the adage goes disputes follow commerce. How then is Arbitration fair in the Resolution of these disputes? What do the stakeholders need to consider in choosing Arbitration as their disputes Resolution Mechanism of choice?
