The Branch had a virtual ADR Talk on the new International Bar Association Guidelines on Conflict of Interest in Arbitration that came into force in February 2024. The talk was about the key details of what these guidelines provide and mean in navigating conflict of interest in Arbitration.

These guidelines provide a framework for identifying and addressing potential conflicts of interest that may arise among arbitrators, parties, and counsel. By adhering to these guidelines, we can uphold the integrity of the arbitration process and promote trust in the outcome.
