The ADR Journal Vol.14 Issue 2 The ADR Journal is a publication by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), Kenya that spearheads intellectual discourse on pertinent and germane issues in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and other related fields of knowledge.

Arbitration Rules These rules have been revised to accord with the provisions of the Arbitration Act, No. 4 of 1995 (as amended from time to time) and are primarily applicable to non-administered or noninstitutional arbitration within the jurisdiction of the Republic of Kenya.

CIArb End of Year Gala Dinner & 3rd Annual ADR Excellence Awards

At the 3rd ADR Annual Dinner & Awards Ceremony held on December 8, 2023, at the Mercure Hotel, the event was a resounding success with enthusiastic attendance, even by senior members.

State of ADR Discussion

The State of ADR in Kenya roundtable discussion was the 2nd edition. The event sought to keep a score card on how Kenya as a country is doing in its use of ADR as a tool to access justice.

CIArb Nigeria Annual Conference Recap

We joined our sister Branch CIArb Nigeria during their annual Arbitration conference in Lagos. The Kenya Branch was able represented by a mix of its Board members as well as its membership.
